Hi, I'm Sara

A Midwife based on the South Coast of England, with a passion for supporting babies with reflux and the families caring for them.

In 2023, during the first six months of my son’s life, I experienced first-hand just how overwhelming and isolating caring for a baby with reflux can be. Despite seeking advice and support, I struggled to find someone who could help me understand why he was experiencing reflux and what we could do to improve his symptoms.

It was an incredibly difficult time, and I often felt that the newborn experience I had imagined had been overshadowed by worry, exhaustion and the constant search for answers. That experience ultimately inspired me to support other parents going through the same thing.

Determined to understand what was happening, I began learning more about infant reflux — exploring the anatomy, possible underlying causes, symptoms and different approaches to management. This gave me a much deeper understanding of reflux.

Today, I combine my professional experience as a Midwife with my specialist reflux training and personal experience to provide individualised, evidence-based support for families. My aim is to help parents understand their baby’s symptoms, explore what may be contributing to them and feel informed and confident about the steps they can take moving forward.

Above all, I want families to feel heard, supported and reassured— and to know they don’t have to navigate reflux alone.
